MEOWMEOWZ! Peg Leg Love performed at MeowMeowz in Pasadena around 2012. As fate would have it, I was out of town and didn't catch their show. They left behind CD Valley of the Dead and into the 200 disc player it went where it's been on rotation ever since. Ilir's awkward warble didn't suit me...at first. But then, the album grew on me hard over the next 5 years. I just woke up and realized "This is fucking brilliant." I booked them again ASAP and have been an avid fan and follower ever since. ~xov Favorite track: Weekend.
